As new energy vehicle powertrains evolve toward higher integration and lighter weight, the industry demands more compact designs and superior performance from on-board charger. Based on precise industry insights, Sungrow E-Power has innovatively launched a single-stage topology on-board on-board charger solution.

Minimalist Architecture, Exceptional Performance

Through innovative system architecture, the solution simplifies redundant stages in traditional multi-level topologies, reducing the use of components such as electrolytic capacitors and PFC inductors. This results in a reduction of approximately 40% in overall volume and 25% in weight. With a power density reaching an industry-leading 6.1 kW/L, it offers greater flexibility and ease of integration into vehicle platforms.

In terms of energy efficiency, the solution incorporates low-loss GaN power devices and intelligent control algorithms to optimize efficiency across the full load range. Achieving an average full-load efficiency of 96.2%, it significantly reduces the lifecycle charging costs for users.

AI-Driven, Efficient Development

During the product development phase, we innovatively introduced an "AI Intelligent Optimization Platform." This platform leverages machine learning models to intelligently simulate tens of thousands of electromagnetic parameters, greatly enhancing the design efficiency of key components. This advancement marks the official entry of on-board on-board charger R&D into the era of "intelligent forward design."

As an explorer deeply integrating power electronics application technology into the automotive industry, Sungrow E-Power remains focused on the technological forefront of on-board charger. Moving forward, the company will continue to invest in R&D in core areas such as wide-bandgap semiconductor applications and intelligent control, providing more efficient and reliable all-scenario on-board on-board charger solutions. This will contribute to improving vehicle energy efficiency and supporting the sustainable development of the new energy vehicle industry.
