Industry Experts Gather at Sungrow to Discuss New Standards for Electric Drive Systems

On May 7, the Working Group Meeting on Standards for Electric Drive Systems and Key Components for Electric Vehicles was held at Sungrow. The conference was organized by the Electric Vehicle Subcommittee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Automobiles. Over 150 expert representatives from vehicle manufacturers, electric drive companies, universities, and relevant testing institutions attended the event. Liu Shaohui, Director of the Green and Low-Carbon Development Department at the China Automotive Technology and Standards Research Center, and Yu Anbo, President of Sungrow E-Power, were among those present.

During the meeting, the working group systematically reviewed the latest developments in standards and regulations within the electric drive sector and clarified key priorities for future work. Attending experts engaged in in-depth discussions on several draft standards, including GB 18488 "Safety Requirements for Drive Motor Systems for Electric Vehicles" and GB/T 36282 "Electromagnetic Compatibility Test Methods for Drive Motor Systems for Electric Vehicles."
