FOTON Vice President Liu Xuguang visit Sungrow E-Power

January 20, Liu Xuguang, Vice President of FOTON and President of FORLAND Business Division visited Sungrow E-Power. During the visit, he engaged in discussions with Yu Anbo, President of Sungrow E-Power, regarding innovation and collaboration in electric drive and on-board charger systems for new energy commercial vehicles. Participants in the meeting included Liu Yongqiang, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Marketing Company of FORLAND Business Division; Xin Guoqiang, R&D Vice President of FORLAND Business Division; Yang Huan, Procurement Director; and Sheng Qingfu, Vice President of Sungrow E-Power.

Yu Anbo extended a warm welcome to Liu Xuguang and the delegation, expressing sincere gratitude for the long-standing support and trust from FOTON. He stated that Sungrow E-Power would leverage its technological expertise in automotive power electronics to systematically advance cost optimization through import substitution and supply chain scaling synergies. Concurrently, the company plans to introduce high-caliber talent and enhance its quality management system to solidify product quality foundations. Furthermore, Sungrow E-Power aims to drive continuous innovation to navigate industry competition and improve overall competitiveness. He expressed anticipation for deepened collaboration between the two parties in areas such as electric drive, motor control, and on-board charger to jointly address market challenges.

Liu Xuguang acknowledged the achievements made by Sungrow E-Power in corporate development and product technology. He expressed hope that both sides would fully leverage their professional strengths to strengthen communication and cooperation in technological synergy, product upgrades, and powertrain domain system integration, working together to develop more competitive solutions. The two parties also held in-depth discussions on the application prospects of next-generation power semiconductors like SiC and GaN in the commercial vehicle sector, exploring feasible pathways for industrial implementation to inject new momentum into efficiency improvements and intelligent development of new energy commercial vehicles.
